Job cuts--misc

I heard that our union officials sat down with the Super and agreed to cut 9 jobs from our facility. Don't know how factual this is. (Rumored closing, garage Officer, Patrol 2)

Yellow lights on patrol vehicles were ordered by DSA. Isn't it funny how there is no money for staff, but they have money to replace lenses to yellow-lenses are not cheap.

Notice how well our local keeps us informed. Even after I wrote to Albany-they cannot find time to post meeting minutes for all to see! Maybe there is something to hide?

I was asked to keep this blog going... but there really is very little being posted...WHY??

The web pages are going great..over 6000 visits, but I'm sure once this arbitration is over, this too will become outdated and unused. I can't believe that with all the staff we have here at Wende, All the bitchin and complaining inside the jail, that very few have the balls to defend themselves. Its always what can someone else do for me. as I stated before YOU DO NOT NEED A UNION REP TO FILE A GRIEVANCE!! You can do it yourself and the Union is obligated under contract to defend you!
